I Heart VT!

Gus and I finally got to go away for a weekend, to my cabin up in VT. We brought along Rocco (since VT is one of the best dog friendly places around) Thursday night we got up there, and then drove into Burlington for a night of partying downtown with Neal on Friday. (Debbie Q took Rocco to go play around Jeffersonville for the night). Bars in VT kick ass. Friday was a blast, all the bars there are awesome-o. THEN on saturday, fortunately enough we were in VT on the first official day of Deerhunting Season. Debbie Q got Rocco an orange bandana to wear so he wouldn't get shot, sssso cute! Gus and Neal got hunting fever, and picked up some bb guns. While they didn't get any kills that day, they shot the hell out of some miller light cans. Oh.. and then we came across a winery conveniently 10 minutes from my cabin. Mini wine tour stops are always okay in my book. Saturday night, Mom cooked a Thanksgiving Dinner for everyone. Home cooked meals are great, too bad I do not cook. Hey I just learned how to grill last week. Baby steps. I'm sure i'll whip up something on saturday when we host our Rochester Thanksgiving. BOSTON NEXT WEEK!! haha gotta love the 5 yr reunion at a bar in downtown boston. That should be a fun sober time :)

Yes the Mancini/Quagliozzi trip to VT was indeed a hit. You neglect to mention the newly improved and modernized bathroom facilities...Yea, yea, so the hot water didn't work. I did the dishes anyway kid...

Anyway, Rocco was right at home and no body shot you or him...It is a wonderful state with all those crazy rednecks running around with loaded weapons trying to kill bambi...I did make a mean venision/moose stew after you left. Tasted like tough meat to me but what do I know being a flatlander and all...

Sorry I missed your dinner in Rochester. You owe me one.
love, mom
