Al Gore Wins Nobel Peace Prize

Al Gore, along with the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change won the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize earlier this morning in Norway for his efforts to raise awareness about Global Warming. Gore said he was deeply honored by the award and that he'd be donating half of the $1.5 million prize to The Alliance for Climate Protection, a organization he formed to raise awareness and persuade people to cut emission and reduce pollution.

Speaking of persuading, DraftGore.com has been in the works to get Al Gore on the Presidential Ballot. They printed an open letter to Gore in Wednesday's NY Times. Click on this site where you can download a pdf of the letter.

Hmm if the race for '08 wasn't interesting enough... I don't think he'll run though.

Yeah I thought it was a great movie, but definitely scary to think where we are heading if people keep taking things for granted..
