They try to make me go to TV Rehab but I said no.. no..no

I don't even know where to start! Here I am, hungover on my chaise lounge clicking through cable and up pops up The Starter Wife. I check the guide and see that there's still an hour and a half left of this "show"? I still don't even know if its a movie or a tv show. I have a new research project for today, on top of apologizing to a dear friend who i may have been too snippy with last night over lots o cocktails!! i dont feel too hot about that. Deborah Messing is so fun and fabulous. And her two friends on the show I would probably pay to have hang out with me. (along with Onge from Paris Hilton's My New BFF- but that's a whole other story). Did I tell you that I favor Paris' Show to The Hills? Also- Diddy kicking Aubrey out of DK? I might have to throw that in my DVR Queue now as well. I need to go to TV Rehab....

Anyone else watch The Starter Wife? Please fill me in on what it is! I figured I watched the beginning of the 2nd season so Hollywood Video might be getting graced by my presense today looking for Season 1. Hope everyone enjoys their Sunday!

Hey there.. Starter Wife started as a mini-series with 6 episodes last year. Did really well so they decided to turn it into a regular series (1st season is realllly good!!) And it all is based on the novel by Gigi Levangie Grazer

I love The Starter Wife! I find it strangely empowering, even though I am happily married. I think they just had a marathon or are about to have one of last season's episodes....if not you should definitely catch up through DVDs if they are available!

I caught a few episodes of the original series recently during a marathon on USA. Not bad. I liked the bitter alcoholic friend -- no wonder she won an Emmy!

I've recorded the new one but still haven't found 2 hours to watch. I watched the miniseries and thought it was embarassingly bad, but my husband was out of town taking the bar exam so what else did I have to do. However, Debra Messing is good.

Once I watch the new one, I'll know what needs filling in.

I was not a fan of the original mini series. Too much bad acting but I watched because I like Ms. Messing and one of the other chicks on the show. I hear the new show is re-vamped. I've not watched to confirm.
