NaBloPoMo.. day one.

Ah what the hell. I'll try and post every day for the month of November. Sign up here if you'd like to do it too! Check out all the cool prizes you can win here.

Today's inspiration is a gift the Sephora Fairy delivered. Even though there is a Sephora within a 2 minute walk from my office, I will never purchase anything in the store. Why not when its free shipping (well, over $50 which basically means 2 items or more) and they throw in Samples?! The only problem is you can only type in 1 offer code, and there's about 5 different ones to choose from. This purchase was made in conjunction with the 15% off for Beauty Insiders. I'd give you the promo but unfortch its only 1 time use. Sneaky bastards. I finally upgraded to the normal sized bottles of Frederick Fekkai's Shampoo & Conditioner for color treater hair ($23/each). Yes, sad to say these highlights of mine are not natural. I had been using the trial size versions ($9/each) for quite some time and this stuff makes my hair feel smooth, sleak, and smell scrumptious. Also in the order was DIOR SHOW mascara ($24). I've been a huge fan of Benefit's Bad Gal Lash, but have heard way too many awesome reviews about Dior's mascara. Hopefully I will try it tonite!

Beauty Insider Perk Sample: Jonathan Product Shampoo/Conditioner. Was I the only one who watched Bravo's BlowOut with Jonathan Antin? I was a little uber obsessed with it. And LOVED how he talked.

Samples: Perfekt Skin Perfection Gel in Luminou, Juicy Couture Juicy Couture Eau de Toilette (a little too strong for my liking), Laura Geller Liquid Candlelight Face & Body

I totally watched Blowout! His Beverly Hills salon used to be close to where I got my eyebrows done long ago. Alas, the Beverly Hills salon is no more.

I love any post that discusses a Sephora. I'm not kidding. I might have squealed when I saw that you were writing about this. As for the shampoo- I think I might have to try it. I have the glossing cream and I do love it.

As for the Dior mascara... I bought it and it didn't change my life. I actually like loreal Voluminous better, though the Dior stuff smells better. Let me know how you like it!

I wish I shopped at Sephora more often. And am so glad I'm not doing NaBloPoMo.
