Wow- it really does Blow!

Oprah Magazine recently featured a tool that could help you master the perfect blow out [for your hair... silly!]

The Blo & Go is a device that suspends your hair dryer so you can style your hair with two hands. In a perfect world, that would be amazing. But something tells me I totally don't have the motor skills to pull this one off. At $30.00 I might consider trying this!

My only concern though is.. I thought you were always supposed to be moving the hair dryer so it doesn't damage your hair if it puts too much heat on one area. Would you have to always be shaking your head so it distributes the air evenly? Cos I might scare my dogs while doing the hair dryer dance under neath the Blo & Go. On the other hand (the new free hand I'd have if using this contraption- hardy har har har) - maybe I could finally use the round soft brush so my hair looks almost like I care enough to style it.

What do you think.. is the Blo & Go too good to be true?

At least the video on their website is VERY amusing!

oh, id try it. im always sucked in by an infomercial too. i remember back in the day, after swim practice id dry my hair under those hand driers (which were up high, meant for hair really), and my hair would always come out SO good, so straight! i know what you mean about moving it around though... but id still give this a go. let me know if you buy it!

Yeah, that doesn't make sense. You'd have to walk back and forth for it to blow on each part of the strand.

Feel free to prove me wrong though!

I'd totally try it. I can never get my hair to look how I like when I blow dry it. Having an extra hand would totally help!

That thing looks awesome. Instead of moving the blow-dryer, you just have to move your head. Just do The Snake every morning as you style.

I think I like having control of the hair dryer. But I also use a straightener so that's where my actual styling takes place. I'd love to hear what you think if you bought it.

I can't keep from snickering at the name! You should buy it and then blog about it. At least it would provide 1 maybe 2 more days topics for NaBloPoMo.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and saying hi.

It sounds pretty amazing. But my bathroom is tiny, I wouldn't have enough room to use this contraption in there.

I have naturally curly hair and can never get it as straight on my own as when I'm in the salon. I'm pretty sure this will not work. I'd love to watch someone try though! :)
