The Snow Storm is coming. The Snow Storm is coming.

Last week it was the crazy Ice Storm that hit New England, leaving a big part of the state without electricity *luckily not the Boston area* for about 4 days, and now we're getting ready for our first snow storm of the season! It looks like we will have a White Christmas after all, fa la la la laaaaaa. It was around this time last year that Bostonians got stuck in the longest-traffic-jam-ever-driving-home. It was on a Thursday, and the storm wasn't supposed to hit until later on in the evening, but the heavy flakes started around 1pm, causing everyone in their office to say 'Oh Snap!', jump in their car in hopes to make it home before Access Hollywood (okay maybe that was just me). Stuck on Cambridge's Memorial Drive (2 miles long) for more than 2.5 hrs-- making the grand total commute 5 hrs and 53 minutes. Click for that amazing recap here. FYI- a huge smile just hit when I re-read that post seeing that all the familiar faces who left some love that day. While I almost used that story in a power point presentation of why I should work from home on Storm Day, permission was granted immediately.

Lexie will be filing important documents and Rocco will be handling the phone for JQ. Now get to work, dogs!!!!!

AND one more thing

As much as this deserves its own blog post, can I just say Big Ups to Drew Peterson for getting engaged again! He's the blatantly guilty wise guy who's a suspect in 2 of his wives deaths/disappearances and he's landed himself another 23 yr old wife-to-be. He's the guy who told the Today Show he doesn't want to be in the media, then holds a press conference outside his house in Chicago.

I'd like to nominate him for TODAY Show Throws a Wedding! That would be amazing. During Sweeps week? A ratings gold mine.

Hooray for work-sanctioned snow days! And don't even get me STARTED on Drew Peterson. What a psychopathic loser.

Nope. I've thought about it and living in snow is still not worth it. ;)
