Currently..

  • reading 'domino: the book of decorating' What a fun funky book with a pretty cover so you can leave it on your dog chewed up coffee table. I'd love to learn more about decorating and this seems like a nice read for beginners. Plus you get a free subscription for Domino (or can add a year on to your current subscription). Granted it was an impulse buy at borders, I saw it online at overstock.com and amazon for much cheaper! (at least I used a coupon)
  • loving my 2009 planner! I thought a Kate Spade one would be much more expensive (since I had gotten a 2006 planner of hers as a gift once) but it was only $20! If you order it at Crane & Co, make sure to check out their clearance on paper goods. Lots of cute preppy Thank You notes for super cheap..
  • sick of winter. Sunday we got 9 more inches of snow. that's all I have to say about that.
  • pondering if I should stick with my hair stylist. I'm not even getting highlights anymore and it still seems super pricey, but she does give an awesome cut job...
  • having a PANIC ATTACK over what to do about my Monday Night for television. With House getting switched over to Mondays, there are now 5 of my favorite shows on at the same time: House, Gossip Girl, The Bachelor, Big Bang Theory/How I Met Your Mother, & 24. Tivo can only record 2 of these shows, for which I have to go into a separate room to watch another, leaving 2 shows for the birds. It sounds like I'll be giving up GG... but I haven't decided on the 2nd show to give up.
  • wondering if this Canadian dude cracked the ABC Spoiler Alert picking which chick wins the Bachelor. He does have a good theory- what do you think?
  • Enjoy your day off for those who have it. Lucky! I myself will be at work. Working. Then we're going to the Celtics Game tonite!!!!

Ah! You have a serious dilemma with your Monday night TV. I'm lucky that I live in a house where my Mom has DVR (that's 2 shows) I have a VCR (1), downstairs VCR (1) and then I watch one. Haha, don't give up GG: it's getting so good!

Cute planner, btw!

We have five DVD-recorders and five TVs.

There are two of us.

Yup.

I don't have any sort of TV recorder and am a big fan of watching shows on the network's website, or on surfthechannel.com!

You could always watch the Bachelor on abc.com.

Hey Julie! We have more than enough snow here in Rochester, too. You can watch some of your Monday night favorites on hulu.com or the networks own website alot of times, so you won't have to miss any shows. I have that same problem on Thursday nights!

I hate how they cram every show on Monday. Thank goodness Lost is on Wednesday!!

I am going to watch the Bachelor in the other room live. Because Prison Break is on hiatus, I don't have to give up anything else.

You can watch GG online!

You oare so organized!

Regarding Monday night TV. I would pick your favorites, DVR them and then watch the other on hulu - not the same, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

interesting about the bachelor!

hmm... you know what you can sometimes do? look on demand to see other times that the show is playing. sometimes they do a repeat at a random time during the day... if you can get that, you could always try to tape it then!

Aww that picture of the Bernstein Bears completely took me waaaaaay back. Loves it :) And I get so giddy for the start of each new year just to go out and get a new yearly planner. I just love the thought of a empty planner/calendar just waiting to get filled up!

Now that the Bachelor has been cracked you can cross that off the list. And you can watch GG online. Problem solved!
