I've out-fierced myself.

Usually I hate getting dragged to Lowes or Home Depot. If you looked at all the receipts in my house from those two places, you'd think they were some really cool bars with all the money that seems to disappear 'under the influence' of home-ownership.

While the hubs goes to look for whatever thingamagit he's there for, I head straight to the fun stuff, like looking at the paint colors and flashy knobs (sounds awesome, right?)

This time I made it down the lights aisle, and was memorized by a certain chandelier hanging above me. It was a pretty easy sell to the hubs, considering our current Chandelier in our dining room is the most basic hanging light there is.

Low and behold, our new flashy chandelier that will make trips to HomeGoods oh so much more fun! Plus I found these two Antler Shelves from West Elm marked down from $70/each to only $17.99! A little piece of VT will now be adorning our living room -- once I get the hubs to put them up [which may be awhile since the chandelier installation went sssssssssssssssooo smoothly]

I wish the spring would get here so we can get back to renovating our place!

Ooh, that chandelier is divine. The BF and I love to go to Lowes, but I can't leave his side, he can't be trusted. He tends to wander into the power tool section and sneak things into the cart that we don't need/ afford.
