Lucky Ducks and Argyle Sox

although I think this guy would be the BEST present!

***WARNING: First things first. I am NOT pregnant (nor plan on it any time soon). Being an almost 27 yr old who's been married for 2 years, inquiries of 'when are we going to have kids?!' starts to come up from random people and certain mother-in-laws. I must point this out since I'm showing pictures of cute baby clothes.***

Our tenant had her baby this past weekend! While we're not really close to them, we run into each other from time to time, you know.. walking to our cars, or on the porch leaving the house. But I was so excited by the great news I ran to BabyGap during my lunch hour to buy a few goodies for our new lil neighbor. My mom told me to buy stuff thats for 8 mos+, so that the lil lady will grow into it. I still get a little overwhelmed in a baby store, and always look like i have no clue what i'm doing there (um.. can you tell that not too many people I know have babies so this is all new to me)

FACT: You know you're not ready for babies anytime soon when the lady hands you a huge BabyGap bag for your purchase, and you ask kindly if you can go over to GAP and get a normal bag instead. There's no way in heck I'd walk around the mall with a huge BabyGap bag :)

Why can't they make a DoggieGap?!? And yeah... do any of you get hounded about when you're making babies? Aren't my little doggies precious enough? I think so.

The best is when you are in the BabyGap with your sister and her three kids, go to another store in the mall, realize that one in the stroller swiped a handful of t-shirts and jammed them in the stroller, attempt to return them, and be accused of the children being yours. NO! They are nieces and nephews.

It really never ends, does it? Before we were engaged, it was always "When are you getting married?" and I kid you not, AT OUR WEDDING someone asked me if we're planning on having kids. Yeah - we are but when? I don't know yet!

Remember when homer simpson would see beer and get that glazed look on his face. That is how I feel about baby clothes.....mmmmmmmmmm onsies. So cute!
ps don't feel any pressure you will have a baby when you are ready! They literally suck the life out of you in a warm and cozy in wonderful way, but the life is gone nonetheless!

Maybe people don't think I should procreate any more. I can't remember the last time someone bugged me about having kids. Neither of our parents ask that question either and we've been married for 2 1/2 years. Now I know something is wrong with me. ;)
