Your Wedding Better Watch it!

After a lovely lunch at Charlies in Chestnut Hill... Erica, Kelly & I went to see Bride Wars!! The funny thing is, Erica and Kelly were the two ladies featured in the highschool pic from my last post. Plus they are the two ladies I know getting married later on this year (not on the same day though)!

This was such a fun movie to watch. Not one that I would drag the hubs to, but he'll definitely have to watch it when I buy it with Apple TV as soon as the flick is available.

Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway are perfect as their characters. It was filmed in Boston even though its depicted as the Big Apple in the movie. The guy they choose for Kate's fiance was a mix between Tom Brady and Matt Damon (plus I remembered him from Van in Reba--yes I totally watched Reba)

What surprised me was how many little teeny boppers were in the crowd! And as Kelly & I were walking out of the bathroom, we heard a mom whisper to her daughter "Make sure you tell daddy that you want you're wedding at the Four Seasons". Oh gosh.

Now I want to go see 'Last Chance Harvey' since i'm on this romantic comedy kick. Go see Bride Wars with some ladies, its fun and girly and fantastical!

anyone else see it??

so fun note, the place where they have the bridal shower (the one in the preview) was filmed at pho republique - home of my favorite mango margarita. although the lights are never that bright there, haha. yay boston!

I saw it. Meh. And that's me being kind.

But at least (1) I only paid $7.50, and (2) I went with some of my fave people.

Eh, I saw the preview and I'm not interested. I must say, when I saw Twilight and the theater was FILLED with teeny boppers, they all thought the preview was HILARIOUS and I just sat there silent wondering what was so funny. *shrug*

You already know I saw it. I found it entertaining even though it was completely predictable. Sometimes you just need to laugh your way through a movie.

BTW, thanks for the compliment on my hair! :) It happens only a handful of times a year so I'm glad it was captured on film. Hee hee.
