I believe...

me and lauren singing @ the hong kong. i look like a straight up goober, and lauren looks like she's singing in a church! loves it. thanks henry for the pic!
  • 'Since You Been Gone' should not be allowed at Kareoke. The pitch is impossible, and apparently I went up 10 octaves higher than necessary. Thank God for Scorpion Bowls boozing up the listeners.
  • that not sending a Wedding Thank You card is pretty tacky. And there is a 4 month cap, even though my M-I-L claims its a year. What's your take?
  • there should be a waiver form someone signs before having a picture uploaded of them on facebook. maybe a waiver just for me. i have issues. i know this.
  • girls say they don't want to make a big deal out of Valentines Day... but obviously they'd like to be surprised with some pretty flowers.. or a husband who takes the dogs to the dog park early Sunday morning so you can sleep late until 8am... (i got both this past weekend since Vday will be spent at our cabin with Gus' wrestler buddies from college for a lil reunion- how romantic! lol)
  • that you don't have to order a fancy fish at a nice Seafood Restaurant. Scallops are 'daring' in my book.
  • J.Crew outlet is 99% as good as the regular one. no make that 105%.
  • Jessica Simpson is more human than we think. A human who has a million dollar empire, but still... this will all change once she does her 'How i lost the weight' cover on US Weekly. Then she goes back to being a desperate mediocre singer.

There is karaoke at The Kong?! Scorpion Bowls are perfect pre-singing drinks!

"Lady Marmalade" should also not be allowed to be sung at karaoke. It's IMPOSSIBLE!

And I'm in love with outlet shopping. I got a $350 purse for $60! So much win :)

Yeah, sometimes facebook photo tagging can be quite unfortunate.

i'm not even going to explain my love for the hong kong and it's awful decor (um, the train above your head?) but kudos for the kelly clarkson. the scorpion bowls help a LOT. =)

It drives me CRAZY when someone doesn't send a thank you note. When did that become optional? Almost worse--I got a note on my FB wall thanking me...ok?

Also, J Crew outlet is probably one of my favorite places ever for the best deals.

I think all songs should be sung at karaoke because it gives this person who doesn't karaoke something to laugh at. ;) Oh, and more reasons to decline the microphone. Hee.

I've heard that there's a 1-year rule with wedding thank you's. But I got mine out in 3 months.

Oh, and Facebook? People should definitely be asked for their permission before getting tagged in photos.

I deleted my facebook account a few years ago because someone kept throwing up ugly pictures of me - one of them was the last straw and I deleted in haste. It turns out it was just frozen so I was able to revive it.

It took me a year to get the thank you cards out. I mentioned that our first year was good and thanked them for a gift or told them how their gift helped {enjoyed the dishes etc.}.
I totally agree about the photo tagging on Facebook. I've requested relatives take a photo or two of me down. I mean come on, if i don't look absolutely great it in, do you really need to share it with dozens of people?!
