When Julie Met Snuggie

Sunday night. Getting ready for the Superbowl. Hear about the 3D Glasses we'd need to watch some of the commercials.

JQ: Gus, can you go get 6 pairs of 3D Glasses... and beer!

G: Ain't no thing but a chicken wing.

And he leaves for the store.

15 minutes later, he arrives back to the house.

G: Happy Valentines Day, my love.

...passes me a Walgreens bag holding a SNUGGIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

G: Went to 3 different places for the 3D Glasses and it was a bust, but I knew it'd be okay if at least I brought back a Snuggie.

JQ: AAAAAHHHHHHHHH! I love it! But this doesn't really count as my Valentine does it?

those are legitimate tears from laughter!!!

Send me your pix! How can you not do a photoshoot if you own a Snuggie ;)

UPDATE: Lauren just sent these pics from her iPhone!

They opted for the Couples Package! There should be a blog thats devoted to just Slankets and Snuggies!

I think those things are hilarious. You can't help but look like a monk when you put it on.

Are they open in the back, or is it like a gigantic poncho?

I have the same one, also a spontaneous gift given to me by my fiance in a Walgreens bag! It's hard not to laugh while you're wearing it.

As Emrlds said, basically its a backwards bathrobe. So its open in the back. But as far as a conversation starter, and a pretty kick ass blanket for watching TIVO, I give the Snuggie 2 thumbs up!

The maroon is hot in an Eyes Wide Shut ritualistic sex party way.

Not gonna lie, these things look silly as hell. Reminds me of friar Tuck but in different, snuggly colors. Enjoy!

I was so disappointed when I realized there was no neck hole and there was no way to keep it on. Mine falls off all the time, but it's very warm.

Ha! I need one of these! But wait, I'd never leave the house... Dilemma!

I think it would be fun if both of you tried to wear the Snuggie at once - that would be true cuddling!!

Nice meeting you last night in person, Julie!

the two best infomercial products ever have to the Snuggie and the Shamwow... i wonder if it's possible to combine the two, and make a single, super-absorbent robe?
