4 days in Miami is more than enough to make a Bostonian hope winter flies by in less than 1 month. Not likely, but I can only dream.
Hubs' conference was held in Key Biscayne, which is the first Key (15 min from Miami) you hit when traveling en route to Key West. We stayed at the Ritz Carlton and it was absolutely gor-jas. For me, it was a mini vaca.. sit by the pool and ocean and relax. Poor hubs had to work whenever he had a free minute from the conference, but c'mon.. that hotel is a sweet backdrop to have while on the phone!Cool Fact: the Roses Centerpiece was changed to a different color about every 3 days. It probably cost more than ALL of the calla lilies at my wedding!
One of the days, they organized the wives to go on a Mansion & Garden tour at Vizcaya. This place was built in 1916, by James Deering as a winter home.
Did not do any shopping! Made sure I packed enough so there'd be no room.
Stalker Fact: I was trying to figure out which Condo housed my favorites from Bravo's Miami Social, but yeah... there are a million condo buildings that all look like this! I love how some of them have Palm Trees on the rooftop!
Useless Fact: think I have enough of these angled shots with hubs & I to put together a coffee table book.
Fun Fact: Miami is beautiful.. but probably one of the most expensive places I've ever visited!!
Can't wait until the next conference :)
