When it Snows, it Snows.

What I plan to do today since there's 8 inches of snow outside (all of which hopefully involves NOT stepping one foot outside!)

  • Cooking Hubs a hearty breakfast since he already shoveled the driveway and walkway
  • Finally going through my Digicam and uploading some pix!
  • Watching some Christmas Movies as well as Its Always Sunny Xmas special (again)
  • Planning our Christmas Eve menu (and designing Wedding-esque Style menus to print out since I like to let my mom know my College Degree is useful at any type of holiday)
  • Wrap some presents, which goes along with Tracking some presents.
  • Laughing at the dogs when they try to go outside to pee but skip around because its way too cold be doing your business outside. That's unfortunate for them.
  • Cleaning/Laundry aka normal Sunday activities
  • Making an insane Xmas Playlist for Xmas Eve, yes, I said insane..
What are you up to this beautifully snowy East Coast Sunday? And West Coasters, feel free to mention you are hanging out at the beach! Only if you send sunny pix as well..

going outside? completely absurd. i may not leave my couch. i mean, i've already scared my roommates with my makeup-less face. i may as well stick with it.

I went and played in the snow until I realized it was up to my knees and too tiring to walk around in :) We got about 20 inches in northern VA.

I am staring at my Christmas tree, which was just put up yesterday. And watching the SNL Christmas special on DVR.

LiLu- I'm impressed. You must have some kick ass friends to want to leave your house on a snowy sunday :)

Emrlds- ha! It was a long long day when my roommate saw me without makeup for the first time. He's still coming to grips with it.

Playful Professional- OMG! That's ridiculous, something tells me Virginia isn't too used to these types of occurrences. Stay warm!

Susan- funny you mention that- because as soon as the Pats game is over, I plan on watching it on DVR as well!!

We made it to the park, and will later literally sled to the grocery store. Now watching the holiday and making christmas cookies. A perfect sunday!

Enjoy my friend!

I'm a little bummed out that during my first winter on the east coast, I flew off to the desert only a few hours before an Authentic East Coast Blizzard! But I'm guessing once I get back in January, there will be more than enough snow for me to stop feeling disappointed...

Also, I would highly encourage you to post your insane and epic Christmas playlist once you finalize it! I'm always looking for songs for my Christmas iTunes playlist (which, I'll admit, gets played year-round...)

I'd send you sunny pics, but I'm at the office. :P

I am wearing a t-shirt and flip-flops, though.

We leave for Costa Rica on Wednesday, so it'll be even hotter for me very soon!
