New Babies and Schooners!

I don't even know where to start. The day after my birthday, I woke up, got ready for work, jumped in my car and checked my phone. 'My water just broke.. going to the hospital!' is the msg sitting there, texted to me the previous night. I completely froze. Gennylite's baby was coming!!!! His due date wasn't for a few more weeks, but everyone's been dying to meet him, so hey, its good to know he's not fashionably late! I continued onto work, but my mind was going bonkers... so luckily enough I was able to grab my laptop and take this show on the road to go visit the soon to be new parents. Picked up the dad some Red Bulls since both of them had not slept since arriving at the hospital because of all the excitement, and i was there within 40 minutes.

Gennylite was such a champ! She had a smile on her face the entire time.. even when you can obviously assume having a baby is no easy task.. and I can't even pretend to imagine what that's like.

Well at 5:45pm, her little angel was born!!! The Rochester Boston Coalition (RBC) all crowded the waiting room waiting to meet him along with their family that was traveling in from NY and Maine.

Introducing Baby O! Born July 30th weighing 6 lbs 15 oz.

He's so adorable and seeing the bond already with his parents is the cutest thing one can ever witness! Congrats to Gennylite and Nals!!! And now that we have birthdays back to back me and O will be able to keep the festivities going!

The rest of the weekend went by so quick! But one of the fun things we did was hit up Marina Bay in Quincy for the first time ever. My friend Ali lives right near their so we met up for some lunch and walked around by all the schooners.

Lots of cute little shops and restaurants to stop at! We went to Port 305 for lunch and it was really really really good.
Any place with ducks is cool in my book.
Some day we shall park our yacht in here.
Or make friends with someone who does!

Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! Its already August now.. WHERE is the summer going?

I have been getting lots of great ideas from blog posts for when we come in September to our daughter and son-in-laws. Thanks. Looks like a beautiful spot.

Just looked at the menu.
Miniature Cannolis
Tuscan Almond Bread Pudding
Sounds like a perfect afternoon. Of course, along with a couple of glasses of wine. :)
