getting ready for a heatwave this week. Really, Boston?? Its been freezing for the past 2 weeks and then its going to go to 95 degrees. Eeek! Why can't we just meet in the middle and deal with 78 degrees and sunny all the time. [packs bags for So Cal] At least Lil C and I will be able to chill out in our 5 star resort inspired pool, as shown in the picture above.

having a summer love affair with BB cream. After seeing a commercial, I googled BB Cream to find out what exactly it was. "B.B. I've always been a loyal fan of Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. I still am- but the Laura Mercier product clocks in at $40 and with a magazine coupon, I got the Garnier BB Cream for $8! I highly suggest you pick it up to try out. I had to do an exchange because me thinking I was a lot tanner than I really am went with the 'medium/deep' shade.. where in reality, I'm 'light/medium'.

jumping for joy over summer television!! Its like a reality tv eclipse when 3 different seasons of Housewives are on 3 nights in a row!! All I can say about the housewives is, Teresa G has lot her damn mind. That is all. I probably could not have a conversation with someone who sides with her. Absolutely bonkers.  And let's not get started about Fox's new Thursday night dating show lineup. If you have not experienced 'The Choice' yet, please do. Okay, its like 'The Voice' but instead of talented judges, its a mashup of trashy reality tv, soap and x games sport stars.  At first I thought these girls who are competing for a date with the 4 'stars' must have no self esteem, but after watching some more, they have way TOO much confidence. Some other summer favs? Royal Pains on USA, TrueBlood (duh), Bachelor Pad + Big Brother (starting back up in July!!). And then there is Bunheads on ABC Family.. I dvr'd it after some twitter recco's, and what do you know.. I thought it was delightful!
