Oh summer, you were fun. You were humid. You were sunny. You were also when my daughter opted for the (dreadful) one nap a day- therefore keeping me close to home to make sure 12-3 was available for Miss C and her comfy crib. We hit up parks, beaches and kiddie pools, we splashed around in the backyard, we took wagon rides around the neighborhood (as in, I pulled her around while she sat people watching like Driving Miss Daisy), we shopped, we hit up farms and museums, we met some new baby friends and kept in touch with old baby friends.
I attended the fabulous Susie (of We Are Not Martha) and Chris wedding!
We didn't get to travel as much as we would have liked, but we did escape to both Cape Cod and Portsmouth, NH for a little while.
I hit my 30th birthday milestone. Celebrated with a small group of people that I adore. PS. I got more amazing and thoughtful gifts on my 30th than any other birthday... ever.. ever...
And now? Going into Fall well into my second trimester. We're expecting Baby Q #2 due in early February! With Lil C soaking up all my attention and me trading in blogger.com sessions for story times and park playdates, its been very easy to keep hush hush on the interwebs. But I'm back. It was a fun summer vacation, but I've missed you all and especially reading blogs!!
We already get to find out the gender next week! Either way I'm just wishing for a healthy little baby.. if she gets to wear all the gorgeous clothes (it will be the same season!) I got for C that were barely worn once, that is such a score in my book. But if its a boy? Mommy is going to start buying some serious seer sucker suits and rugby shirts.. stay tuned.
