The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends baby be in a rear facing car seat from 0-2 years old. While most infant car seats get too small for kids when they reach closer to age 2- this one grows with them and makes it comfortable for them to remain seating rear face. Brilliant!
Along with receiving the above mentioned Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40, we were also treated to a night of fun at MiniLuxe.
This was the first time I've been to MiniLuxe, but have always wanted to stop in. One, because their store front always looks amazing, and two, because their services are convenient and considerate of your time frame. I love getting my nails did, but do not feel like you are wasting half of your day somewhere doing so, which is why this could be my new jam for mani/pedis.
TinySophisticate last year at the Winter Warmer with Vicks event and have loved bumping into her at other fun blog events. Check out her blog, you will love it!
A few of us were also picked to try out threading! I snapped a pic of one blogger below, because it would have been impossible to document myself getting it done. I am a fan! It took about 2 minutes and I actually thought it felt quite soothing. Its been about 3 years since I've gotten my eyebrows done and boy was it a treat!
Altastrada, located next door to MiniLuxe on Central Street, provided the event with some delicious snacks as well.
Did not have a chance to talk with all of the ladies there last night unfortunately, but did chat with Molly of Cheap Beets, Emily of CityBaby Living, Keiko Zoll of The Infertility Voice, Jess of Keeping Mommy Sane, and Emily of Random Recycling. Am always looking for some new local blogs to read.
Special thanks to Graco and Charlene of Charlene Chronicles for such a fun event. This new car seat arrived just in time for Baby Q #2! And many thanks as well to Kathy Thomas, store manager of MiniLuxe Wellesley for her wonderful hospitality!
The Graco SnugRide® Click Connect™ 40 – the first and only newborn to two-year infant car seat that actually grows with your baby from four pounds all the way up to 40 pounds. The car seat is designed for a parent on the go. The infant car seat can be easily removed from the base and used as a carrier when the infant is small, providing portability and convenience so you can easily move your infant in and out of the car without disturbing them.
The American Academy of Pediatrics recently made the recommendation to keep all children in rear-facing car seats until the age of 2. Graco set out to make this product so parents can keep infants rear facing longer while still keeping them comfortable.
