Friday Fill-Ins

1. A smile is totally worth the months of headgear I had to endure when I was 10 years old (i only wore it when i slept).

2. Heartthrob is my favorite board or card game. But if I had to play a game now, it would be Apples to Apples

3. I would love to have more weekends in my life and less Monday through Thursdays.

4. When I think of the Summer Solstice, I think of days playing pickup soccer at DeFazio field shoeless and happy when it was just kids having fun, and no bullshit town politics. Seriously, did that happen in everyone else's town? Or did I grow in up 90210 land...

5. I just remembered I need to fill up my gas tank before work tomorrow. wwwhhaahhh. what's gas like where you are? Here it's about $4.20. BLARF!

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to LEXIE IS HOME! Well. she's staying at Yiayia's for a couple days while she recuperates from surgery (something tells me Rocco won't be a doctor on Grey's Anatomy anytime soon), but she's very close by, tomorrow my plans include hanging out with the dogs, then Jaclyn is in town, so there will definitely be some patio drinking somewhere and Sunday, I want to you guessed it, more playing with the pups! And uploading my San Fran pics from my business trip last week! Um.. why did I plan my trip staying in Union Sq in SF the week BEFORE David Beckham was going to be hanging out there?!? stupid stupid jq.

Friday Fill-Ins

1. Idle hands are NOT going to be the case when we have two bassettweillers running around next week!
2. I love the smell of Victoria's Secret Pear Glace Body Scrub in the shower.
3. My favorite time of the day is when I walk in the door after getting home from work.
4. The last tea I drank was from Teavana when I was at my temp job at The Prudential Center (at a media buying company) I kept on getting asked to go for Tea with my boss and her friends, so I went to go schmooze... but I learned that I do NOT like fancy tea. like.. at all. Must admit, the place was a cool store in a hipster kinda way.
5. I like to run through sprinklers in the Summer. Even though to do that nowadays, I'd have to crash a 10 year olds birthday party.
6. My mother always said I'm totally cool with only having granddogs for now!!!!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to packing and laundry, tomorrow my plans include meeting up with WeezerMonkey and asking if she'll bring me to Hahvard Reunion events, cos I can totally pass for a smart kid and Sunday, I want to soak up the sun in San Francisco!

1. When I fell in love my grinch size heart grew three sizes that day!
2. I switch to Pinot Grigio as my favorite white when the flowers bloom and it heats up outside!
3. Oh no! The internet connection is down, break out the solitaire!!!!!
4. Arrested Development is was the craziest tv show ever.
5. Cheese and macaroni (obvi!) make a great meal!
6. If I can't have an infinity pool in my backyard I would settle for a garden.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to a baseball game, tomorrow my plans include catching up with some old (young) friends and Sunday, I want to rest up, and watch the Big Brother Season Finale!!

Friday Fill-Ins!!

1. House Hunting is so exciting! Now if only it were like the episodes when the couples get to look at MANSIONS in Atlanta for $250K instead of "diamonds in the rough" that seem like a billion dollars.
2. Strawberry fields would sound fabulous if it was actually sunny outside, and you could eat the strawberries without rinsing them off with water, because no one really likes wet strawberries.3. A Krispy Kreme wedding cake sounds like it would taste delicious!

4. Why does trashy reality television, broken parking meters, puppies, and the new season of Real Housewives of NYC make me feel so good?! I swear me and Ali are going to be like Jill (me) and LuAnne (ali) when we are older.
5. The sunset in the Greek Isles and my hubs wanting to want to do laundry is something I've always wanted to see.
6. It's sad when you're on your way home from vacation and you're still wearing your flip flops and shorts, but when you reach Rochester its 20 degrees outside with 5 inches of snow on the ground- not that that happened to us when we came back from Cabo San Lucas 2 years ago. Cos it was 6 inches.
7. And as for the weekend, today I'm looking forward to 'restaurant week' lunch at Dante's with the work crew, tomorrow my plans include an all day date with the hubs, including shopping at the outlets, then heading off to Boston for dinner and Avenue Q!!! and Sunday, I want to have a nice relaxing day visiting with the in-laws and hunting for Easter Eggs!

2. I'm going to get my wisdom teeth out on March 7. Care packages welcome. And all of your comments rocked concerning the subject.

3. Gold Digger is a song whose lyrics have meaning to me.

4. Just one sip and Julie is about 18 more sips away from singing Karaoke. My best work is singing Ashley Simpsons 'Pieces of Me' at the Sports Depot in Allston after a UFC Fight

5. With my Gus & my Rocco is where I'm happiest. Also, getting a pedicure, probably the most relaxed you will ever see a Julie Q.

6. I believe that watching at least 4 episodes in a row of Whose Wedding Is it Anyway? is a necessary part of life.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to celebrating L-lo's birthday somewhere in the city, tomorrow my plans include probably being hungover and watching Gone Baby Gone, and some other movies I believe came out on Tuesday and Sunday, I want to take advantage of my 3 day weekend (aka probably catching up on laundry and cleaning) get excited!!

Friday Fill-Ins

1. My dog sleeping on my bed and staying by my side for 16 hrs while I was ill this past week makes me happy. Except I did get freaked out when I remembered that one dog who sensed death in hospitals and would go lie down next to the next victim, so I told Rocco to go watch Gus play video games on that 16th hour.

2. I would like it to be 80 degrees out and sunny, please.

3. Fried Green Tomatoes tastes SO good!

4. Saturday is my favorite day of the week because you don't get the Sunday Night Jitters.

1. The last compliment I got was from Sacred Moment Weddings Blog; she said "Julie is funny, witty and definitely an "around the way" girl! 2. I'm reading the fresh new issue of Real Simple. I think I want to order Domino too.

3. I woke up today and thought today the writers strike will end and the Office will be an all new episode next Thursday
4. Why does it take so much longer to wake up and get ready for work during the winter time, does work not know I have a feather bed and its way too comfy?!

5. The last thing I ate was Upper Crust Pizza (hey..we hosted game night last nite!).

6. January... 3 months from MEXICO and the beach.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to a very well publicized after work happy hour in Fanuel Hall, tomorrow my plans include relaxing during the day, and going someplace to watch my hubs coach who's fighting in London on UFC's pay per view match (oh how fun!) and Sunday, I want to do i even need to write DO NOTHING!

Friday Fill-Ins!

1. This year, I'd like to buy a house. Unless I win the HGTV Dream house, then my answer is to win the next cycle of America's Top Model, just by smiling with my eyes.
2. Redecorating my apartment to resemble a West Elm catalog is what I daydream about most. That and being on the Real World.
3. My dog is a crazy ship captain trapped in a short little four legged body.
4. I would like to have more new fresh episodes of House, The Office, Lost, 30 Rock, The Shield, Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia, I Love New York, Tell Me You Love Me, The Daily Show, The Wire in my life.
5. I love to have lots of Yankee Candles, Pink Pens, and Picture Frames around the house.
6. Fresh warm out of the dryer clean sheets on my bed make me smile.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to taking Gus to the Celtics game (part of his Christmas Gift), tomorrow my plans include getting my hair done, still am debating what color and Sunday, I want to FINALLY FIX MY BLOG LAYOUT, and then do what i do every sunday.. NOTHING!

Friday Fill Ins

1. Snow is not fun anymore, espeially when you wear heels to work.
2. I'm looking forward to my "first date anniversary" tonite. *note, Gus and i went on our first date 12/21/00, while we weren't really boyfriend girlfriend at the time, that date is very worthy enough to mark the time we started growing eyes for each other..

3. Lynne Spears is the best Hollywood mother ever!
4. One of my favorite old tv shows is 90210 & Save By The Bell- couldn't pick between the two.
5. I'm done with Lucky Magazine subscription (didn't renew b/c i realized I wasn't even reading it since its basically for skinny filthy rich people).
6. The most enjoyable thing around the holidays is chilling with the family!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to 1 hot date, tomorrow my plans include taking my dog to the dog park and going to see a movie and Sunday, I want to rock & roll and get a manicure at my new favorite place that is open on Sunday!
